VTDigger Launches 2022 Election Guide

VTDigger has launched its 2022 election guide ahead of one of the most important primary elections in decades.

Even before the start of the election campaign, 2022 was set to be a historic election year in Vermont. Two of the state’s three congressmen, four of its six leaders and about a third of all members of both legislative houses are stepping down this year. Meanwhile, legislative district lines in many areas, including Chittenden County, have been redrawn for the first time in 10 years.

Early voting transformed the 2020 election season amid the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, tens of thousands of voters are expected to take advantage of Early Access again, and voting is already underway.
