The promotion of primary school teachers from C1 to C2 is not automatic. Grade C2 is a promotional grade for primary school teachers. It is also an entry level in the administrative framework. Entry into this grade is competitive and subject to the availability of vacancies.

To be promoted to this rank, he must apply online when TSC makes an announcement. A teacher must have served for at least three years in the C1 class in addition to having the required qualifications which are at least a diploma.

A secondary school teacher in class C1 is also known as secondary II teachers. Teachers of the C1 grade secondary school diploma will then automatically progress to the C2 grade after serving for three years.

Promotion of teachers from C2 to C3

In primary school, C2 belongs to senior teachers and it is also a promotion grade for primary school teachers. It is an entry level in the administrative framework. Entry into this grade is not automatic but competitive and subject to the availability of vacancies.

For Primary II teachers to join this grade, they must serve for at least three years. Promotion to this grade is automatic.
