Roseville Dignitaries Celebrate Grand Opening of Sonrisa Senior Living

Roseville, Calif. — City of Roseville dignitaries celebrated the grand opening of Sonrisa Senior Living (1031 Roseville Parkway) on Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first 201-unit community sets a new standard for independent living for seniors in the city.

“For nearly three decades, Roseville has been a sought-after destination for seniors and working adults,” said Roseville Vice Mayor Bruce Houdesheldt. “In 2020, Roseville was listed as the 9th best place to retire by Money Magazine. Senior living has evolved since the 1990s from single family living to vibrant senior living luxury apartments like Sonrisa.

During the same ceremony, participants also took part in the inauguration of the highly anticipated Sonrisa Assisted Living and Memory Care. Located next to Sonrisa Senior Living, the 10-acre facility (1035 Roseville Parkway) plans to open 144 apartments for local seniors in the summer of 2023. The community is expected to create up to 100 jobs in Roseville.
