Beaumont Health Board of Directors Appoints Two New Directors – Presse et Guide
Beaumont Health’s Board of Directors has appointed two new members to guide and lead the organization: Faye Nelson and Linda Little.
Nelson has over 20 years of senior management experience. She is currently the Michigan Programs Director for the WK Kellogg Foundation, a $7.5 billion international private foundation. In this role, she oversees approximately $70 million in annual statewide grants, associated operations, finance, strategic planning, collaborations and personnel. She was previously a Corporate Vice President at DTE Energy and also served as Chairman and President of the DTE Energy Foundation and President and CEO of Detroit RiverFront Conservancy. A native of Detroit, Nelson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mercy College Detroit and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit School of Law. Faye was recently named Michigan Woman of the Year 2022.
Little, who has over 25 years of experience in health care transformational leadership in for-profit and not-for-profit health systems, managed care, government, community health and the private sector, is currently Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Neighborhood Services Organization. In this role, she leads efforts that close gaps for vulnerable populations and improve lives in affected communities, serving more than 10,000 people. She previously served as Chief Clinical Officer for Total Health Care. And, she has held leadership positions in several health systems, including Henry Ford Health and the Detroit Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Detroit-Mercy and her Masters of Business Administration in Organizational Development from Wayne State University. Linda was honored as one of Michigan’s 100 Most Powerful Women by Crain’s Detroit Business in 2021.
“Faye and Linda are phenomenal additions to our Beaumont Health Board. They both bring a wealth of experience and expertise that will help guide our organization into the future,” said Beaumont Health Council Chairman Christopher Blake.
Beaumont Health is a division of BHSH System, the new health system created earlier this year when Beaumont Health and Spectrum Health came together.
